Bruce’s book, A Concise Guide to Taxes in Retirement, is a 15 chapter overview on common tax situations people may have to deal with in retirement, a state-by-state run down of tax laws for retirement income and an introduction and guide to the various ways taxes can impact retirement income and assets.
It is written for people hoping to achieve retirement net after-tax cash flow of between $50,000 and $160,000. It’s a straight forward manual designed to help promote awareness of tax issues because being tax-aware when preparing for retirement is critical for a solid retirement plan.

Bruce’s relaxed style, his responsiveness, and his careful monitoring and timely adjustments to his clients’ retirement plans won him the honor as one of the “Top Wealth Managers in Denver” by 5280 Magazine in 2013 and 2014.
Bruce is a featured speaker at America’s Retirement Store workshops and even provides continuing education to tax preparers. He is the “go-to” guy in the office for federal benefits issues, pension analysis, and special needs planning for disabled adults and children.
A 1988 University of Wyoming graduate with an accounting degree, Bruce grew up on a Wyoming ranch and is proud of his many ranching experiences. He lives with his wife, Cindy, and their two children, Ginny and Charlie.
An experienced financial professional of more than 25 years, Marilyn Weaver has a passion for her clients’ and their families’ wellbeing – financially and otherwise. Her hard-earned credentials – BA from University of Texas, Austin, MA from University of Oklahoma, PhD from University of Denver (endowment management), Certified Financial Planner™ – speak to her technical and professional skills. What they don’t describe is the care, time, and attentiveness she invests in the people she helps guide toward a fruitful and rewarding retirement.
Reflective of her passion is yet another designation – certified facilitator of Celebrations of Life workshops (created by Barry Baines, MD), where she helps people share their life’s legacies beyond the material: Passing On Your Values … Not Just Your Valuables.
Marilyn is active in the Colorado community and serves as an advisor and mentor to her sorority’s chapter at the University of Colorado. She’s an avid athlete and fan, tennis player, former gymnast and University of Texas cheerleader. She lives with her husband of many years near Greenwood Village, Colorado.
